One of the highlights of the day was the traditional and artistic fashion show, curated by MENS-ART. True to his avant-garde style, the designer once again amazed the audience with unique pieces made from unconventional materials: neckties and sachets of drinking water (pure water).

This approach, blending recycling with haute couture, goes beyond aesthetics to deliver a powerful message: every object, whether discarded or overlooked, has the potential to be transformed into something valuable and meaningful. Each outfit told a story, merging creativity with environmental consciousness, proving that art can reshape our perception of the world around us.

A Memorable Day

Between living traditions and modern artistic expressions, this Saturday at the Festival Désenchaîné once again demonstrated that African culture is a fertile ground for innovation and reinterpretation of the past. Dance, music, fashion, and environmental engagement intertwined to create a day rich in emotions and discoveries.

Far from being just a performance, these showcases were a true ode to the hidden beauty within the ordinary, inviting us to rethink our relationship with objects and cultural heritage.

Stay tuned for more festival highlights and artistic gems that celebrate African identity and creativity!
