We met yesterday with the organizers of the Festival of the Unchained in Agbodrafo. This will be the 10th edition of the Festival and will take place in Agbodrafo from February 28 to March 3.

Africa Traditional Beliefs (ATB) will be there along with several other volunteers and supporting organizations.
The organizers have already enlisted international volunteers, including two French participants: one is a painter attending the festival for the second time, while the other is a sculptor experiencing it for the first time.
During the meeting, we had the opportunity to visit the different sites where various festival activities will take place. The program is particularly rich, featuring:
• An opening ceremony at 7 AM, marked by a mystical and traditional prayer to seek the assistance and protection of the ancestors.
• A traditional storytelling evening at the House of Slaves.
• A fashion show dedicated exclusively to traditional attire.
• Voodoo celebrations through traditional dances.
• Many other equally interesting activities.
