The year is coming to a close. We decided to launch this website for several reasons. we wanted to have a venue where we could publish pieces that would not be suitable for publication in other venues. We wanted to have a repository where we could collect information, stories, pictures, documents pertaining to Africa’s traditional beliefs. And we wanted to create a platform to give voice to some of our African collaborators-writers, social scientists, artists and so on.

We wish our reader a Happy New Year. We wish them happiness, health and success. We also wish that they may come back to this website and become loyal readers. We hope this website to grow. We will try to make it happen. But for that to happen we need our readers. We wish them well, we wish them a great new year, and we wish them many happy (and hopefully informative) returns to this website.
