The Africa Traditional Beliefs (ATB) team will be at the forefront of an extraordinary cultural event! From February 28 to March 2, we are honored to participate in a festival that showcases African culture in all its forms. But this time, our role will be twofold: not only will we cover the event exclusively for our readers, but we will also engage as volunteers, fully immersing ourselves in the festival experience.
A Journey Through Time and History
From our very first exchanges with the organizers, Mr. Yao Bobby

it became clear that this event is far more than just a festival. It is a journey through time and history, a moment where ancestral beliefs, arts, and collective memory come to life.
As volunteers, we will be at the heart of the activities, sharing emotions, energy, and unforgettable moments with participants and artists. This role will also grant us privileged behind-the-scenes access, allowing us to bring you exclusive images and testimonials.
A Festival Rich in Spirituality and Culture
The festival will open at dawn with a mystical ceremony, a traditional prayer invoking the guidance and protection of the ancestors. This powerful, spiritual moment will set the tone for the days to come.
Here are some of the highlights you won’t want to miss:
• A night of traditional storytelling at a highly symbolic location: the House of Slaves. Here, the voices of the elders will echo, passing down wisdom and collective memory.
• A fashion show honoring traditional African attire, a true reflection of a rich and diverse cultural heritage.
• Voodoo celebrations, featuring dances and rituals that unveil the depth of this often-misunderstood spirituality.
• Artistic performances by both local and international talents, including two French artists, showcasing the universal reach of this event.

• A variety of cultural activities, such as musical performances, traditional cooking and gaming workshops, and many more immersive experiences.
Exclusive Interview with a Talented Artist
Beyond the festival, ATB has a special surprise for you! We will have the opportunity to sit down with Mr. Yao Bobby, an artist whose recent works—already featured on our website—are deeply symbolic. He will share the meanings behind his paintings, offering a unique artistic perspective that will enrich our coverage.
More Than Just Participation: A True Immersion
Our engagement as volunteers is more than just participation. It is a deep dive into the heart of African traditions, allowing us to truly understand, feel, and share the essence of this festival with you, our readers.
We invite you to follow us throughout the event for exclusive reports, interviews, unseen images, and powerful testimonials.
Join the Festival Adventure!
The festival organizers are still welcoming volunteers from around the world. If any of our readers are interested in attending this incredible event, feel free to contact us for more information and assistance.
Let’s dive together into this one-of-a-kind celebration of African traditions and cultures! Stay tuned—this week, we will be publishing a detailed festival schedule so you won’t miss a single moment.
Stay connected to ATB for an unforgettable cultural experience!
