A few days ago we posted an interview of the grand-daughter of voodoo priestess. One of our readers sent us the following comment:

The interview has dramatic and touching traits: even in my culture, marked by superstition, generational curses are perceived as tangible realities. As in African tradition, our credulity is a complex issue, which requires a deep analysis. I fight against naive credulity but I do not tolerate scientific prejudice. When the interviewer states that “spiritual powers, evil powers exist and harm people, but above all because people believe in them”, I wonder what primordial need has deviated the religious aspect of the origins. Because, deep down, I firmly believe that religions, in their purity, are a good, a force that guides and consoles. If religions have been distorted by superstition and fear, it is because some spurious element has intervened, a human interest, too human… However, I personally believe in the existence of demons and angels.
