« The Désenchaîné Festival is a crossroads of cultures, a space where the past converses with the present through various forms of artistic expression. » Among the standout talents of this edition, MENS-ART, a creator of unique artistic designs, captivated the audience with his innovative works during the fashion show.
For this artist, Africa is an endless source of inspiration. “When we talk about masks, thoughts immediately turn to ancestral rituals and beliefs,” he explains. Through his creations, he reinterprets cultural heritage by incorporating original materials, notably ties and recycled water sachets, to bring unique pieces to life.

His work goes beyond aesthetics; it is also a means of preserving traditions. “My work helps to perpetuate craftsmanship and cultural identity by adapting them to contemporary realities. Each piece becomes a bridge between the past and the present,” he says.

But how can these traditions survive in an ever-changing world? According to him, the key lies in communication and transmission. “This is precisely what the festival represents: it helps preserve our traditions by sharing them through various activities.”

Thanks to artists like MENS-ART, the Désenchaîné Festival proves that innovation and tradition can coexist, offering each generation a new way to celebrate and reinvent its heritage.
